Artist's Statement

I grew up on a yacht; the elements are in my blood and I am inspired by the sky over the water, the reflections, the play of light, and how one affects the other.

Rose is a contemporary landscape artist from South Devon currently living and working in Edinburgh.

Working primarily in oils, Rose frequently works outdoors, feeling inspired when immersed in natural, un-spoilt, and often dynamic landscapes.

In a time where we need to reconnect, Rose aims to provoke an appreciation for the environments' strength and beauty.
